Copiers scan well and OCR slowly, and the wait is the whole problem. Big scans sit unusable for hours, so people re-scan, print or give up. ScanFu removes the wait. Progress shows live, page by page, and anything that can't be read cleanly is flagged for a look instead of holding up the rest.
Then everyone works in the same document at the same time. See who else is in it, highlight and annotate together, leave comments, @mention a colleague and they are notified straight away. Changes appear for everyone as they happen, with no refresh and no emailing versions around.
It goes past reading. Send documents out for signing and watch the progress, build fillable forms from existing PDFs, redact for real, and produce numbered bundles ready for court or an audit.
